Shantel and Anthony's journey to parenthood began with love and a shared dream, a vision ​of a family of our own one day that we would nurture and cherish.

When we found out that we were expecting our world was alight with a new kind of ​excitement, one filled with hope and the sweet anticipation of new life.

We began to affectionately refer to our unborn baby as "Jellybean," a term of endearment ​that captured the tiny size of our bundle of joy during the early weeks of pregnancy. It was ​during one of our first ultrasounds that the nickname was born. As we gazed at the screen, ​watching the tiny heartbeat flicker like a little star in the night sky, Anthony whispered, ​"Look at our little Jellybean."

Shantel's hand found mines as we shared that special moment, a connection between the ​three of us that transcended words. It was our first encounter with the new life we had ​created, and it was a blessing.

As the weeks turned into months, Shantel's belly grew, and so did our anticipation.

With each flutter and kick from Jellybean, our excitement rose. We imagined who this little ​person might be, would Jellybean have Shantel's radiant smile or Anthony's playful eyes? ​would Jellybean be a boy or a girl, RSVP and find out with us.
